Solarwinds Inc. Brand Marketing Manager in Singapore, Singapore


Reporting to the International Senior Corporate Communications Manager, the Brand Marketing Manager (APJ) is responsible for supporting the development of the APJ corporate communications strategy, and managing its day-to-day execution. As an ambassador for the company, this role includes managing the SolarWinds reputation with external audiences, creating and implementing communications campaigns, and tracking their performance to build awareness in the region. This newly created position, requires a creative and strategic thinker who is comfortable working with a global, distributed team.   • Support the development and delivery of the global communications plan, including appropriate measurement and metrics

  • Liaise with global communications team to drive successful execution of the communications strategy, narrative, and support country-specific initiatives

  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with local PR agency partners to drive exceptional program results (coverage, message pull-though and penetration, increasing share of voice)

  • Develop and support the execution of outreach strategies for product news, thought leadership, case studies, and partnership announcements to trade and channel press

  • Work closely with regional sales and marketing teams to secure media references and case studies

  • Develop and write/edit corporate materials including press releases, customer case studies, bylined articles etc.

  • Develop, oversee execution, and host media at events and activities

  • Manage budgetary expenditures related to these efforts


  • Degree – preferably in public relations, marketing, journalism, or related field

  • 5-7 years of PR agency or corporate experience, working with enterprise and/or consumer tech clients

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing integrated external communications programs

  • Direct experience with APJ-based media, including trade and channel media, bloggers, and social media influencers

  • Experience developing and managing budgets

  • Self-motivated with the ability to effectively work with a global team and agencies

  • Flexible and proactive in working with distributed teams

  • Passionate about pushing boundaries and driving business results, and engaging all audiences

  • Highly creative and resourceful in the face of a challenge

  • Innovative thinker, with track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment and can anticipate future needs

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize under tight deadlines

  • Collaborative in approach and proactive in bringing forward new ideas

  • Excellent and persuasive communicator with superior creative writing and editing skills

  • A secondary language is a PLUS!
