Solarwinds Inc. Web Project Manager in Morrisville, North Carolina
The Web Project Manager role will primarily be responsible for the daily marketing intake to support website requests for existing programs related to our Application Management (AppMan) websites. This role will work closely with our direct team of Web Program and Product Managers on assigned programs and/or projects.
Provide end-to-end management of daily intake queues, including collaboration with required teammates and/or stakeholders to provide continuous delivery on assigned programs and/or projects.
Collaborate with Web Program and Product Managers to take existing ongoing programs and/or smaller projects to market.
Handle multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously with an ability to switch gears as priorities may change, or higher value requests are introduced that may need immediate attention.
Strong sense of personal direction; can ensure program/project management tactics support our team’s goals and align with the overarching business pillars for SolarWinds.
Critical thinker with ability to pivot quickly when needed, effectively assess priorities and drive trade-off decisions.
Possess organizational skills; able to clearly document and communicate progress.
Be deadline driven, with the ability to prepare schedules and identify key milestones based on scope and resources.
Has a strong desire to own and execute on programs within the bounds of our governance models as established in documentation, standard playbooks, tools and processes.
Manage assigned areas fluidly with an understanding of how to prioritize and meet ongoing deadlines.
Problem solver who can leverage similar requests, identify and address pain points, streamline redundancies and/or expedite without sacrificing quality.
Nurture strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the company to ensure SolarWinds web properties are supporting business needs (internal account management).
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with people at all levels within the organization. Communicates well with technical and marketing teams and can easily establish rapport with a variety of personalities.
Ability to ramp and learn quickly to effectively drive assigned work, and develop an understanding on supporting processes, platforms, etc.
Understanding of basic web processes, and best practices to drive assigned work streams forward.
Some understanding of website functionality, design, content development, QA, and production cycles.
Experience with CMS platforms and project planning software is a bonus, but not required.
