Solarwinds Inc. Sales Operations Intermediate in Morrisville, North Carolina

Overview

The role of the Sales Operations, Intermediate is to focus on the efficiency and effectiveness of the SolarWinds North America SaaS Sales Teams. This role excels in data analysis and can both identify and facilitate change to achieve predictability, efficiency and high performance across the North America Sales Team. This is an engaging and hands-on role that requires an individual who is capable of functioning and excelling at both a strategic and data-heavy position.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting & Analytics

  • Work with sales leaders to accurately report on Sales results by team

  • Develop quota targets for the sales reps, manager and directors based on established company targets

  • Lead, in partnership with FP&A, defining the commission structure and payouts

  • Report to Executives on team metrics including pipeline create, conversion rates and attainment

  • Work with sales leaders to identify and create new performance metrics/reports that would allow deeper analysis of trends and potential efficiency gains

  • Forecasting & Productivity

  • Consolidate and report against weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts.

  • Work with sales leadership on forecast remediation and acceleration plans.

  • Periodically report on forecast accuracy. Be willing to track forecast attainment daily and push for performance.

  • Team Structure & Planning

  • Partner with Human Resources on compensation planning

  • Develop and maintain ongoing headcount reports, organization charts and report on recruiting efforts

  • Assess, design and implement sales processes for maximum efficiency

  • Partner with Marketing/Product Marketing teams on Sales Enablement projects

  • Act as POC for SaaS Sales for new sales tools and systems

Qualifications

  • BA/BS required

  • MBA preferred

  • Mastery in Microsoft Excel

  • Proficient in Salesforce CRM & Outreach.io

  • Minimum 3-5 years of operations experience, ideally in a B2B Sales environment (technology a plus)

  • Heavy data analyst experience
