Solarwinds Inc. Sales Operations Associate in Morrisville, North Carolina

Overview

The role of the Sales Operations Associate is to focus on the efficiency and effectiveness of the SolarWinds- ITSM, International Sales Teams. In this role, you will ensure SWI’s internal policies, mechanisms, and guidelines around the sales process comply with company standards and expectations and are adhered to by the sales organization.

This role excels in data analysis and can both identify and facilitate change to achieve predictability, efficiency and high performance across the International Sales Team. This is an engaging and hands-on role that requires an individual who is capable of functioning and excelling at both a strategic and data-heavy position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide front line support to the sales organization by solving issues with order management and navigating internal processes to generate and book orders

  • Leverage knowledge of existing process structure to identify common issues & trends to develop proactive solutions

  • Ability to identify quote-to-cash process bottlenecks through analysis of day to day work

  • Complete ad hoc projects, reporting and analysis as required

  • Support and help maintain sales process, tools and systems

  • Deliver daily, weekly, monthly sales reporting for all key business units, down to the individual level

  • Monitor core trends, including the average sale price, sales cycle, and conversion rates by sales rep, channel, and source

  • Data deep-dives to find pockets of opportunities for our business

  • Track and manage monthly and quarterly commission payouts for sales reps

  • Create and maintain documentation on sales processes, policies, and relevant sales training materials and assist with onboarding new sales talent

  • Partner with Marketing/Product Marketing teams on Sales Enablement projects

Qualifications

  • BA/BS required

  • 2-4 years of proven experience of Sales Operations in a software sales organization

  • Organized, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Proficient in PPT, Word, and Excel

  • Experience with SFDC required

  • Has been in a role supporting Sales Reps and Sales Territories

  • Strong listening, analytic and organizational skills

  • Ability to prioritize to meet business needs

  • Effective communicator, both written and verbal

  • Team Player with a positive attitude ready to work in a fast paced environment

  • Selling Software as a Service is preferred

  • Results Driven
