Responsibilities

  • Leads foundational and ongoing Sales Enablement programs in collaboration with functional leader. Programs include but not limited to new hire onboarding, sales technologies and tools, sales skills, and product education, and certifications.

  • Identifies, validates, and addresses development and performance support needs for multiple categories of Sales Representatives across the globe to improve results in collaboration with stakeholders and functional leader

  • Determines and drives the creation and implementation of enablement solutions in multiple formats (live training, eLearning, webinars, job aids, sales tools and sales technologies) based on business model principles

  • Provides guidance to ensure the optimal use of our internal knowledge management systems, business applications, and learning management systems for program coordination including registration, assignments, tracking, reporting, testing, and evaluation

  • Supervises the measurement of participation, effectiveness, and impact of one-time and ongoing programs to provide regular reporting and analysis for Senior Leaders according to performance and schedule requirements. Implements recommendations for continual improvement.

  • Engages with key stakeholders including Sales Managers, Sales Leaders, Product Marketing, Sales Operations, HR, and L&D

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Targeted Capabilities:

  • Sales Acumen: proficiency with sales models, processes, and professional sales skills, preferably in a saas sales environment. Applies the business model across functions, driving Sales Enablement initiatives based on the model principles.

  • Program Management: able to prioritize, scope, plan, and execute to move multiple programs forward in a fast-paced, global environment. Develops performance and schedule requirements and executes effectively, providing guidance and coaching to others to meet schedules and resolve problems. Recommends changes to improve results.

  • Instructional Design: working knowledge of how salespeople communicate, learn, and perform; translates performance needs into enablement solutions that measurably impact the short-term goal attainment of the company.

  • Technical Fluency: comfortable learning and working with new tools, technologies and products; able to quickly grasp, simplify, and communicate technical content

  • Influence: influences effectively without authority. Effectively partners with the business in a way that brings energy and focus and reduces unnecessary friction in interactions.    

  • Results Orientation: strong drive to achieve goals and make an impact on the business; takes proactive approach to problem solving. Determines how to use resources to achieve results.

  • Communication: crisp, compelling, and practical style of writing, editing, and speaking

  • Facilitation: confident personal presence and proven facilitation skills that drive participant engagement

  • Global Awareness: appreciates different working styles and preferences and the interconnectedness of modern business; works effectively within the global workplace

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required

Minimum 5+ years of direct sales experience with demonstrated experience designing and delivering sales training, ideally in a software sales environment

Ability to occasionally work evenings

Experience in a fast-paced, iterative organization

Demonstrated passion for sales training and enablement
