Solarwinds MSP is experiencing tremendous success and growth, as a result we are looking to expand the team with a new Sales Engineering Manager. We are looking for a leader who will continue to focus on making Solarwinds MSP a great place to work, and someone who is a steward of our amazing culture and EPIC values.

Through prior experience and leadership skills you will help grow the Sales Engineering team with sales process, positioning, development and sales acceleration activities with a focus on driving technical capability and capacity in the team

You will manage, develop and lead a local team of high performing Sales Engineers with the expectation to accelerate the usage and consumption of Solarwinds MSP products and solutions and remove technical buying objections.

Responsibilities

  • You are an enthusiastic self-starter with an outgoing personality, a natural leader who is comfortable bringing together matrixed teams to drive towards a common goal.

  • You have been in the high-tech industry for 10 or more years in a pre-sales or customer/partner-facing capacity.

  • Your strong team building skills, customer/partner facing and relationship building skills, coupled with your listening and questions-based selling skills help you see the “big picture” and develop innovative solutions with your partners and customers.

  • You understand that the customer's journey doesn't end at the sale, and truly believe that the job isn't done until we deliver the value promised.

  • You are comfortable communicating professionally with customer and partner executives, and can demonstrate past success leading strategy conversations through remote sessions.

  • Throughout your career you have worked for an MSP or provided services to an MSP and understand their needs and day to day activities.

  • You have run sales plays for new offerings and developed collateral for the teams' reuse and distribution to both clients and internal groups.

  • You work in a fast-growing environment with an appreciation of how growth affects the business dynamics, corporate culture and in-place processes and systems.

  • You have excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills

  • You can travel up to 25% of the time

  • Desirable industry certifications (MCSE, CCNA, etc.)

  • Ability to work with little or no supervision

Qualifications

  • Field Work/ Customer facing roles of duties

  • presentation skills

  • Used Competitive RMM platforms previously

  • Quick Learners

  • Throughout your career you have worked for an MSP or provided services to an MSP and understand their needs and day to day activities.
