Solarwinds Inc. Manager, Marketing Communications in Morrisville, North Carolina

Overview

The brand campaigns marketing manager is a collaborative corporate storyteller and program architect focused on illustrating company’s value differentiated brand across multiple channels to drive engagement, retention and positive customer experience with SolarWinds MSP partners. This is a player/coach position requiring a strength in shifting from big picture to detailed execution, and each stage between as required by evolving priorities, projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Concept, develop, organize, implement, measure and report on consistent, cohesive, multifaceted compelling campaigns for customer-first marketing brand awareness and lead generation campaigns.

  • Work with the creative team to successfully execute campaign strategies and partner across departments to ensure timelines, project deadlines and dependencies are clearly understood.

  • Collaborate with digital marketing and business intelligence team members and stakeholders to review performance metrics and customer feedback to improve ongoing campaigns and apply learning to future efforts.

  • Develop and maintain a detailed up-to-date calendar of planned campaigns; accurately report on the progress and performance of all brand campaigns, and shift as organizational priorities evolve.

  • Assist digital marketing strategists with determining campaign investments and budget adjustments based on performance data.

  • Manage creation and selection of, and help source, develop, write and edit relevant content for integrated market education campaigns, including development of persona-appropriate message masters.

  • Manage asset inclusions, helping with channel recommendations, formats and extending value of those with additional campaign asset placements, packaging for other teams and initiatives.

  • Support multiple corporate marketing and communications projects, research and representation for MSP initiatives.

  • Participate as responsible team contributor with persistent enthusiasm and transparency.

Qualifications

  • BA in marketing, communications, advertising or related field.

  • Six-eight years of brand awareness, market education and/or comprehensive marketing campaign creation, and progressive marketing/media experience with team leadership responsibilities preferred.

  • Impressive portfolio of results-oriented content-driven campaigns.

  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills with great attention to detail.

  • Strength in producing high quality work in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple concurrent projects on deadline with shifting priorities across a shared resource pool.

  • Resourceful with innate initiative and accountability.

  • Comfortable with change and solutions oriented.

Preferences:

  • Familiarity with technology/SaaS personas; business owners.

  • Experience with marketing IT products and services.
