Due to our rapid growth, we offer competitive career opportunities and currently we are seeking an experienced Director, Sales ITSM .


Drive Revenue Outcomes

  • Create overall plans and strategies for developing business and achieving opportunity and revenue goal

  • Manage and guide all day-to-day activities of the Inside Sales Account Managers

  • Optimize sales productivity and results

  • Identify, cultivate and close new business within our current customer base utilizing a high relationship-driven approach

  • Recommend and create new revenue models and channels in support of company objectives

  • Gain astute comprehension of marketplace and prospect dynamics

Manage Revenue Activities

  • Lead and develop high achieving, inspired sales team

  • Establish mentoring, training and support processes

  • Manage sales budgets, KPI’s and performance reporting tools

  • Analyze acquisition reports to formulate solutions and action plans for increasing revenue generation

Inspire Revenue Across the Company

  • Contribute collaboratively to product and feature ideation, development, and enhancement

  • Support development and implementation of marketing programs and initiatives

  • Strengthen customer relationships, grow the base and reduce churn

  • Increase market penetration and promote the Solarwinds brand

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with company leaders to facilitate support for revenue generation initiatives and for cohesive integration of revenue generation goals and activities with overall operations



  • 10+ years successful sales experience, including at least 5 years in sales management

  • Ability to lead, mentor, and grow a team, serving as a player-coach

  • Proven experience growing revenue through customer acquisition and growing sales revenues over a multi-year sustainable basis

  • History of developing and building strong customer relationships

  • Experience in creating new revenue models and channels

  • Proven success in introducing and selling new products in the marketplace

  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast paced environment

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with other teams

  • Problem solver and thought leader on sales, marketing, and general market trends

  • Strong strategic thinking skills, combined with highly developed analytical skills

  • Exceptionally strong communication and writing skills

  • Positive, winning attitude with ability to highly motivate sales teams

  • Strong skills in the analysis of sales reporting

  • Highly skilled and passionate deal-closer

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree
