SolarWinds are expanding their Public-Sector Team and are seeking a Sales Manager for our London office. This role is responsible for building and managing a team of Inside Sales Represntatives focused on identifying prospects and matching their needs to the market place and then closing on that business.

Responsibilities

The Public Sector Sales Manager has responsibility for all activity within the Central Governments, MoD and Ministries, including:

  • Achieving sales targets for SolarWinds products across multiple market segments within the Public Sector

  • Build and effectively lead an inside sales organization through training, development, and daily goal/objective setting

  • Overseeing existing partner relationships and expanding those alliances

  • Develop, implement and own our public sector strategy; financial plans and forecasts .

  • Maintain an active awareness of the market trends (economic, regulatory, competitive and technology), to identify business opportunities.

  • Working closely with other cross-functional management teams in marketing, product, and finance operations to expand Public Sector Strategy

  • Work with Sales Reps on day to day functions and metrics that have been proven to drive sales success

Qualifications

  • A sound knowledge of Public Sector procurement Frameworks and processes

  • Ability to lead, motivate and execute with a team of inside sales resources

  • Proven ability to recruit, train and scale against aggressive growth targets

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment
