The Public Sector Account Executive is responsible for creating/developing new sales opportunities within National Governments of EU countries; while at the same time ensuring a satisfied customer base which allows us to build a sustainable business for future success in the territory.

Responsibilities

The Public Sector Account Executive has responsibility for:

  • Achieving sales targets for SolarWinds products, solutions and initiatives

  • Attending regional trade shows and conferences promoting Solarwinds to the National Government segment

  • Develop strategic relationships with European Systems Integrators that focus on National (Central) Governement accounts

  • Work closely with channel partners and enable their business to deliver incremental National Government bookings

  • Working closely with other cross-functional management teams in the marketing and product groups

Qualifications

  • Strong background in sales

  • Direct software sales experience

  • National Government (UK Ministrys, MoD, EU Central Governments) sales experience is preferred

  • Self-motivated and possess strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently; strong internal and external communication skills

  • Experience in a quota carrying sales role with demonstrated achievement selling to National Governments

  • Understanding of Governement procurement cycles
