Solarwinds Inc. Channel Account Manager in London, United Kingdom

Overview

SolarWinds are currently recruiting a UK Channel Account Manager to be responsible for identifying, recruiting, enabling and developing channel partnersin order to increase new sales and expand existing accounts.

Based in London, the position requires active contribution in defining channel strategy, translating strategy into operational targets and setting priorities for establishing value-generating channel sales.

The successful candidate will bring leadership to the team in order to achieve overall revenue and profitability objectives for SolarWinds.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in shaping and implementing the channel strategy in the UK

  • Identify, evaluate and validate channel partners

  • Negotiate contracts, build, support and manage channel relationships

  • Present the SolarWinds’ company’s product strategy, technical benefits and advantages relative to competitor offerings

  • Work with partners and the SolarWinds marketing team to grow and sustain annual sales and gross margin targets

  • Support channel partners on joint sales and marketing activities

  • Work hand in hand with marketing to optimise ROI in all marketing activities

  • With partners, develop and execute plans to maximize revenue

  • Provide & manage accurate partner targets with monthly, quarterly and annual forecast & pipeline reporting.

  • Be accountable for results

  • Provide best-in-class channel support

Qualifications

  • Successful track record in relationship based channel account management

  • Broad experience of selling in the software industry

  • Successful track record of exceeding bookings and margin goals

  • Self-starter with the flexibility to lead, manage or contribute to changing market and sales needs with tactics that respond well to partner needs

  • Excellent planning, organization, and communication skills with a strong partner focus in driving sales through various channels

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Previous CRM experience preferred.
