Solarwinds Inc. Technical Lead NodeJS Developer in Krakow, Poland

Overview

The security software product, SolarWinds Threat Monitor , is a SIEM system designed to reduce the complexity of threat detection for IT operations teams as well as for MSPs and MSSPs (managed security service providers).

We are looking for Technical Lead NodeJS Developer who has experience working with microservices or distributed systems.

Below is a list of technologies that you are going to work with most frequently:

  • TypeScript

  • NodeJS

  • GraphQL

  • REST API

  • MySQL and AWS Aurora

  • Docker

  • React

  • AWS

  • CircleCI

  • SolarWinds Loggly, Papertrail and AppOptics

Responsibilities

Responsibilities and activities, you will be involved in:

  • Designing solutions of complex problems together with a team and architects

  • Participating in an agile software development team by writing code, developing unit tests and performing code reviews

  • Helping others to grow their technical skills

  • You and your team will be responsible for the entire development process, from prototyping to development, testing, troubleshooting and deployment

  • Working closely with Product Owners to understand software requirements

Qualifications

What is required for this position?

  • Strong knowledge of NodeJS

  • Knowledge of Docker

  • Experience with developing and integrating distributed (SaaS) systems or microservices

  • Knowledge of web application security

  • Experience with unit and integration testing

  • Experience with any frontend JavaScript framework like React, Vue.js, Angular, AngularJS

  • Ability to use English on a daily basis (reasonable spoken)

  • Desire to learn new technologies

What are some desired (not required) skills?

  • Knowledge of TypeScript, Go, Python, PHP

  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, MongoDB)

  • Experience with Elasticsearch, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, protobuf, gRPC

  • Experience with CI/CD tools

  • Experience with Linux

  • Experience with Scrum
