Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in integration definition design sessions, IT business process flow reviews, and integration gap analysis / data assessments

  • Quickly understand the function of a device/application/platform/product/etc., determine its’ capabilities and functions, and master its’ exposed APIs for integration purposes

  • Work to understand end-customer business needs, typical IT business processes, and integrity of “System of Record” data to better develop integrations

  • Architect, design and implement small to large scale integration solutions adopting various technologies, API’s, and potential partner product modules

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining formal data structures, data description and data architecture; this can include data models, data definitions (logical, physical, and conceptual), data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, etc.

  • Design integration specifications, develop data strategy and create high level data architecture documentation, which exemplify a particular IT business process

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated competency with several programming languages (.NET, javascript, HTML5/CSS, java, Python, etc.)

  • Proficiency in implementing reliable, secure, high performance and scalable integrations between IT Service Management products & platforms

  • Demonstrated experience using various integration API’s, SDK’s and communications patterns (pub/sub, request/response, callback handler, listener, etc.)

  • Excellent “stakeholder” relationship management skills and potential to work with demanding technology partners and end-customers

  • Ability to create accurate estimates and documentation that supports the project management effort and coding

  • Past experience as an integration engineer or integration consultant a plus (HPE Services, IBM Global Services, etc.)

  • Deep experience in developing IT infrastructure monitoring and/or application performance management products, including a solid background with adjacent markets (service management, incident management, security, admin tools, CI/CD, QA test, development tools, etc.) a plus

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including authoring of clear and concise integration documents
