Solarwinds Inc. Senior HRIS Manager, HR Operations in Fort Bonifacio, Philippines
Reporting to the Director, the Senior Manager, HR Technology, is responsible for providing leadership, planning, hands on configuration, project coordination and management for the design and oversight of HRIS initiatives in support of the organization's goals and practices specifically for HR Technologies.
The Senior Manager works collaboratively and serves as the primary interface between HR and the IT department, software vendors, accounting and Payroll to insure integrity of the HRIS system. S/he provides a leadership role in the management of systems, and all its HR components, as well as day to day operations of the HRIS function. This position is accountable for ensuring successful delivery of functional services to users throughout the organization.
Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
Partner with HROps, HR leadership, information technology payroll and accounting to manage the delivery and utilization of the company's HRIS resources including system and business requirements, the design and implementation of HRIS solutions, oversight of HRIS best practices.
Manage the HRIS day-to-day activities to support the HR, payroll and other interrelated functions. Foster and maintain positive relationships with HRIS constituents, including management and the HRIS customer base. Serve as an interface between internal/external customers and functional team members to ensure effective definition of and delivery of HRIS applications. Provide overall prioritization of work assignments and management of functional team resources.
Promote proactive approaches using the HRIS to solve business needs/problems while also enhancing the understanding and acceptance of the HRIS capabilities. Based on business need, negotiate priorities and support requirements with the IT department, functional staff and others as appropriate.
Plan, budget and forecast HRIS needs and applications. Maintain awareness of vendor plans and the potential impact of those plans on current and future HRIS functionality. Review impending business issues that will have a direct impact on the HRIS and provide senior management with an assessment of the HRIS impact, scheduling considerations and other information required for a complete business case.
Manage all HR technology, working closely with key internal stakeholders to design system solutions, prioritizing initiatives, system configurations and assigning and managing resources.
Functional and system expert on the HRIS and other HR systems (such as SAP SuccessFactors, iCIMS, or others). Leads the research and evaluation of new and / or alternative solutions and technologies to enhance operational effectiveness.
Coaching and leading a small team of direct reports, coaching the HR Department team members, and working diligently with external customers on utilizing the system efficiently.
Partnering with others to create and deliver training for end users. Continually educate users on utilizing the functionality of the system.
Develop, implement, and modify system requirements. Maintain system, database files, tables, and data with a focus on integrity and accurateness. Ensure workflows, tables, and integrations are functioning appropriately.
Ensure systems / software is utilized optimally and vendors are meeting the established Service Level Agreements within the executed contract. Work with vendors to resolve any outstanding or system issues.
Manage activities around quality assurance to ensure accurate data entry and workflow approvals are received consistently. Ensuring the following of established SOX compliance and other controls are in place.
Partner closely with our internal IT security team to make sure all applications are configured to align to global security standards, and to also hold all HR Technology vendors to those security standards.
Monitor budget and system / software costs. Evaluate upgrade and / or enhancement costs against return on investment and budget implications.
Create a project plan and lead any system / software upgrades or implementations. Coordinate RFP activities including partnering with IT and Legal. Design and implement adaption plans and deliver system training to end users.
Create and modify reports of business or department analytics and metrics for Company leaders and managers. Provide ad hoc reports when requested.
Manage all employee development for direct reports including performance reviews, coaching, training, etc.
Special projects as assigned.
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience in Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field
Minimum of eight years of HRIS experience with a minimum of three years managing an HRIS function
Strong experience evaluating system options, managing data integrity, and leading projects to optimize utilization
Experience with database configurations and design, preferably HR databases
Experience with database markup languages
Proficient analytical and problem solving skills
Prior HRIS management experience highly desired
Prior experience working with SAP SuccessFactors
Experience working in global organization with international experience is highly desired.
Should possess strong project management skills especially with system implementations
