Solarwinds Inc. Manager, Technical Training in Fort Bonifacio, Philippines

Overview

We are seeking an experienced manager to oversee our growing team of training and quality assurance staff. As the manager, you will work with the leaders of the Customer Success Department to ensure that effective, high-quality learning content and improvement programs are developed to meet our business needs including new hire onboarding, product release training, customer training, and service and process audits.

Responsibilities

  • Identify learning needs including training and performance improvement programs

  • Design and manage learning programs aligned to the business goals of the department and the company

  • Develop the skills and knowledge of the APAC training and QA team, including identifying upskilling needs, coaching, and conducting performance reviews

  • Daily management of the APAC training and QA team to ensure quality and efficiency in training and quality assurance programs

  • Collaborate with members of the training team, Customer Success department, and other business units to design effective educational journeys for internal staff within the department and our customers

  • Assist as needed with designing and developing learning content such as videos, interactive eLearning modules, presentations, demos, simulations, activities and assessments to be used in technical trainings

  • Assist as needed with conducting service and quality audits

  • Post learning content to the internal and company learning platforms following outlined procedures

  • Create reports and dashboards to communicate the trends and impact of the learning and QA programs offered

Qualifications

  • Formal education in training and development including instructional design, measuring impact, performance improvement, and/or learning technologies

  • 3+ years of experience in a training management and/or QA management role

  • Proven experience with designing and developing training programs

  • Proven experience with designing and managing learning and/or performance improvement programs

  • Strong coaching and people management skills

  • Proven project management experience
