Overview

The Benefits Programme Manager will support the international benefits operations and strategy, and will report to the Senior Manager, Global Benefits. The position will support market research, program evaluation, design, implementation, communication, and administration of global benefit plans.

This is a hands-on position that will involve analysis and project management of a variety of programs including retirement/pension, health insurance cover, disability and time away programs, amongst others. The Benefits Program Manager will interact with local HRBPs, HR Operations, Payroll, Finance/Accounting, and various external vendors in the deployment and administration of global benefit plans.

Responsibilities

• Programme manage annual benefit plan renewals, ensuring all deadlines are met by all parties, updating plan related documents, assisting with the preparation and delivery of employee communications, and ensuring that vendor databases are updated appropriately

• Programme manage the implementation of any new international employee benefit plans

• Estimate the annual invoice costs for each carrier and work with HR Ops to request POs and ensure bills are paid timely and coded correctly for accounting

• Monitor benefit vendors to ensure high levels of service are provided to employees

• Serve as escalation point for local HR on employee benefit plan questions as needed

• Partner with legal to update the benefits related sections for the local employee handbooks and other policy documents

• Create annual holiday calendar for all countries

• Liaise with regional leadership on Company benefits and compensation programs

• Research industry and labor market to determine Company’s market position in benefits

• Additional responsibilities will be added based on capacity and business need

Qualifications

• Experience working with regional or global employee benefit programs

• Strong knowledge of pension plans, medical leaves and other absences, time away benefits, and insured plans across multiple countries

• Proficient working with Excel to evaluate data and summarise findings

• Ability to communicate complex information in a clear manner

• Ability to manage projects, self-direct, manage multiple priorities and work in a results oriented environment

• Strong attention to detail
