Responsibilities

Effectively manage complex learning programs, delivery schedules and facilitator pools

Manage and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with vendors, SMEs, peers and stakeholders

Conduct learning and performance needs analyses

Apply adult learning principles and instructional systems design to create blended learning solutions that minimize time away from customers and maximize performance improvement

Design for and measure against required business outcomes; evaluate, track and report on impact of programs and initiatives

Facilitate / co-facilitate learning programs and workshops; maintain high participant evaluation scores

Proficiently use standard office tools and specialised L&D and HR tools for learning program administration and surveys (LMS, HRIS, MicroSoft Office, various Survey Tools)

Business acumen: High intelligence & ability to quickly grasp complex business issues

Critical thinking: Strong reasoning skills; able to structure thinking into logical flow and sequence that’s easy for others to understand; able to create and work with conceptual frameworks

Instructional Design: Strong knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design, leadership theories and practices, and multiple learning formats

Project Management: Able to prioritise, scope, plan, budget and execute to independently move projects forward

Stakeholder management: Able to establish positive relationships and align others around accomplishing goals

Facilitation: Expert facilitation skills that drive high levels of participant engagement; executive presence to credibly and confidently work with groups of senior leaders in and out of the classroom

Communication: Crisp, compelling and practical style of organising thoughts into writing and speech

Integrated HR perspective: familiarity with related HR sub-functions and tools (succession management, performance management, organizational effectiveness, organizational design, performance consulting)

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required

Advanced degree or equivalent experience in instructional/Learning design, human resource development, business or other relevant field preferred

Proven experience in learning and development, HR or organisational development/effectiveness

Proven success managing complex programs

Proven experience designing and developing learning programs

Experience with other HR functions a plus

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment
