Solarwinds Inc. Order Processor in Cork, Ireland


As an Order Processor, you will be part of a global team processing a high volume of orders and customer queries - working closely with customers, sales teams and other internal business units. You will be an expert at navigating systems with accuracy and efficiency, and will thrive in and enjoy a fast-paced team environment. You will be capable of using initiative and flexibility to achieve the targets & goals of the global team. You will be able to quickly learn and work with new procedures & complex processes.


  • Process consistently high volume of complex orders with accuracy and efficiency.

  • Timely & accurate delivery of customer invoices and license keys.

  • Adhere to departmental guidelines, procedures and policies.

  • Meet defined standards and target metrics for quality and productivity for all transactions.

  • Collaborate with Sales Teams and other cross functional organizations on order issues

  • Resolve customer queries and concerns

  • Help with additional projects and tasks related to Global Revenue Operations as they arise.


To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Initiative: Act quickly to identify and resolve order backlogs, system issues, and customer requests. Use training and documentation to proactively and quickly become familiar with operational procedures and systems.

  • Thoroughness: Ensuring that one's own work is complete, processes have been adhered to, and all order and customer account data is up to date and accurate.

  • Flexibility & Adaptability: Openness to different and new ways of doing things, quickly adapt to and work with multiple financial systems, new products and changing processes. Be able to adjust work schedule at peak times and periods of high volume.

  • Customer focus: Keep internal and external customers in mind at all times. Strive to proactively address customer concerns and needs. Assist business partners and customers, strive to provide consistent customer satisfaction.

  • Self-management: Manage own time, workload, priorities, and documentation to achieve own goals and the goals of the team.

Experience & Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of demonstrated experience in sales support, sales operations, data entry or order management.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem solving and decision-making skills required to effectively assist with and adhere to operational guidelines, deadlines, and demanding workload.

  • Excellent communication & customer service skills required - including the ability to respond calmly, provide clear and concise detail, and make rational decisions in stressful situations

  • Flexibility to adjust work schedule when required

  • Proficiency inMicrosoft Office, Outlook, and experience in working with CRM applications (NetSuite, Zuora, SFDC, or other)
