Overview

SolarWinds is currently seeking to hire an Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Berlin who focus on our security portfolio.

This role will be responsible for achieving and exceeding SolarWinds revenue objectives.

Responsibilities

The ISR will

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and e-mail, assist potential customers during their evaluation process, create quotes and new customer accounts, co-ordinate with channel partners, and close sales

  • Keep Solarwinds management informed by maintaining accurate customer and pipeline records within SalesForce

  • Submit accurate and timely activity reports as required

  • Conduct product demonstrations via the internet to potential customer’s audiences that are both technical and non-technical

  • Provide Solarwinds Management with information about the local market opportunity and identifying new business opportunities and channel partnerships

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Passion for selling (IT industry background preferable)

  • Enthusiastic and self-starting approach

  • Demonstrable record of sales success against quota

  • Knowledge and experience of networking technologies and our overall business environment

  • Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office/Exchange, and SalesForce

  • Fluent (written/oral) English and German.
