Solarwinds Inc. Web Project Manager in Austin, Texas
The Web Marketing Program Manager role will primarily be responsible for the day-to-day development, support and go-to-market for projects related to our Core IT websites. This role will drive cross-department initiatives working closely with other Web Program Management peers and Web Product Managers, along with other internal business stakeholders.
Strong sense of business acumen; can ensure program management tactics and strategy support our team’s goals and align with the overarching business pillars for SolarWinds.
Thought leader beyond simple project execution - actively participates in discovery, roadmaps, prioritization and other planning activities.
Collaborate with Web Product Management to implement site optimization wins and take initiatives to market.
Critical thinker with ability to pivot quickly when needed, effectively assess priorities and drive trade-off decisions.
Handles multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously with varying degrees of complexity.
Identify areas to turn into programs.
Can establish governance, documentation, standard playbooks, tools and processes.
Manage project planning, content management and localization, business readiness and deployment for web projects. Meticulous with a solid knowledge of project management (AGILE or waterfall project methodologies), risk assessment and mitigation, resource management, and establishing timelines.
Problem solver who can leverage similar requests, identify and address pain points, organize complex information, streamline redundancies and/or expedite without sacrificing quality.
Work to bring in cohesion and integration from various cross team requests, with an understanding of the global SolarWinds view and direction.
Nurture strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the company to ensure SolarWinds web properties are supporting business needs (internal account management).
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with people at all levels within the organization. Communicates well with technical and marketing teams and can easily establish rapport with a variety of personalities.
Excels at forging and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
Experience program managing personalizing different content and product merchandising based on personal and demographic differences
Research, create and communicate KPIs for program justification/strategy
Create and execute on messaging and design for your program within brand standards
Understanding of basic web UX/UI principles, and best practices including SEO and localization
Solid understanding around website functionality, design, content development, QA, and production cycles
Familiarity with the customer journey, including understanding and improving the typical customer lifecycle
Ability to understand the CMS platform on a functional level
Analytical skills and data-driven thinking, including some knowledge of website analytics tool and KPIs. Should have the ability to apply analysis and context to the data to help drive decisions
Familiarity with A/B testing and testing tools is a plus
2 - 4 years of experience managing website design, content development initiatives and digital marketing projects with a focus on website content strategy, product launches, campaigns and content management infrastructures.
Experience in Marketing Communications for major networking hardware or software company is ideal
Experience with CMS platforms is a bonus, but not required
