Solarwinds Inc. Strategic Partner Alliance Manager, Advisory in Austin, Texas

Overview

SolarWinds is currently looking for a Strategic Partner Alliance Manager for the NA region. The ideal candidate will identify, qualify and help close new opportunities as well as expand the SolarWinds portfolio within existing, strategic accounts. They will contribute individually and collaborate as a team member with the GSI Sales Team. He/She will have experience teaming with System Integrators, Channel and Alliance partners. Although SolarWinds has eliminated many barriers to entry, He/She will be responsible for identifying barriers to conducting SolarWinds' business and responsible for guiding/managing efforts to fill those gaps.

Excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability are critical along with the ability to be self-driven. Ability to succeed in this role will require strong drive as well as the application of advanced technical/business skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage enterprise grade accounts within assigned territory

  • Responsible for lead generation, building the relationship with our GSI partners, account profiling and growing the revenue with these strategic partners

  • Identify opportunities to cross sell and upsell as well as penetrating verticals and horizontals within the GSI organisations to open new customer accounts

  • Deliver Executive level presentations both internally and externally

  • Work collaboratively with cross functional departments

  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales quota and pipe build quotas

  • Drive adoption across the entire SolarWinds portfolio

  • Provide appropriate sales tracking and reporting as required leveraging Salesforce and Excel

  • Ability to analyze data and formulate account strategy, execute to plan

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of sales experience

  • 5 + Years of direct enterprise level sales experience a must

  • Sufficient technical acumen to speak to target audience

  • Comfort with an enterprise and transactional sales model and coordinating with inside sales resources

  • Experience and credibility selling at the CxO and senior sales business manager level

  • Ability to forecast, manage sales expenses

  • High intellect and the capacity to multi task

  • Ability to spot opportunity and take it forward

  • Business development, prospecting skills and ability to build strong partner relationships

Preferences:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher

  • Proficiency with SalesForce.com, MS Excel and Word

  • 3+ Years in-region sales experience
