Solarwinds Inc. Senior Marketing Manager in Austin, Texas
The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for Multi-Channel/Multi Product Optimization and budget optimization across channels to support product level lead targets for the Network Management Portfolio of products with a strong focus on optimization and conversion analytics.
Defines quarterly marketing plan including all channels such as: lead generation, web merchandising on SolarWinds properties, online advertising and content placement on industry relevant sites, email marketing, social media and more; collaborates with channel expert leads to agree on plans and resourcing for execution
Multi-channel campaign design and management recommendations based on identification, evaluation of marketing opportunities to optimize cost per conversion.
Defines content roadmap to support campaigns; collaborates with product marketing for content creation, editing and copywriting for a variety of channels
Make recommendations for continuous improvement of inbound and outbound campaigns to increase demand and conversion of qualified opportunities
Designs multi-touch nurture marketing programs and campaigns and, with knowledge of various market stages, proficiently guide the team regarding approach
Manage team of Marketing Specialists , oversee campaign execution, advise on strategy and ensure that campaign targets are being met.
5+ years marketing experience including demand generation, inbound and outbound marketing with demonstrated revenue growth, preferably in a B2B environment with a focus on eCommerce
2-3 years of people management
Experience with managing prospect engagement activities using multiple online and social channels: email, webinar, communities, SEO/SEM, company and third party websites, and so forth
Understanding of inbound marketing and email practices; prefer hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms such as Eloqua, Marketo, or Silverpop and the development of nurturing programs
Demonstrated track record of keeping ahead of current demand generation trends
Self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative technology environment
Collaborative team-player with strong leadership and interpersonal skills who can influence across multiple organizations
Detail oriented, self-motivated and proactive
Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical acumen and a keen ability to prioritize workload based on business impact
BS/BA degree required, MBA preferred
