Solarwinds Inc. Senior Manager, HR Operations in Austin, Texas
The HR Operations Sr. Manager will be responsible for managing a number of HR Operational elements including Global HR Compliance, HR Project Management for our M&A activities, and Global Mobility. This role will interact with all HR functions globally and will be responsible for managing a small global team. This position will be responsible to work closely with a number of stakeholders and vendors.
You will be a key member of the Global HR Operations team focused on HR M&A, HR & Governmental compliance, and immigration activities. You will focus on driving these initiatives while working closely with the HROps team members, partnering with various stakeholder groups, and working directly to manage 3rd party vendor relationships.

This is a leadership role and you will be looked to as a leader to coordinate, organize and influence efforts which can span multiple business and development teams. You will engage with business partners, Agile teams, technical analysts, project managers, domain partners as well as cross-enterprise managers and officers. You will probe, understand and contribute to technical direction and design and proactively support the technical team in delivering their products.
Your work will include requirements, systems analysis documents, use cases and software architecture artifacts (e.g. logical and physical system diagrams). You will analyze technical needs to help ensure the team meets objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and technical acumen.
Manage global compliance elements, specifically any governmental reporting or training requirements.
Work closely with legal, HRBP team, and L&D as needed.
Keep apprised of country, federal, state and local laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
Manage all US EEO1, AAP, and all other applicable reporting requirements
Manage cross functional projects between HR Operations and other departments globally.
Partner with internal stakeholders such as the business, finance, payroll, legal, tax, and human resources.
Manage incredibly confidential data for the organization.
Gather and organize project status data from all relevant workstreams
Compile and analyze project reports and find discrepancies that require senior management’s attention
Prepare project risk/financial/employee related reports with reliable conclusions that management can use to implement more effective project execution adjustments
Assist project managers with day-to-day activities related to purchase orders, requisitions, accruals, contract closeout activities, risks, issues, and status reports.
Manage the Global Mobility function leading operational excellence in support of expat assignment, global moves, employee work visa processing, and local moves.
Manage global expatriate process and provide support for existing, new and ending assignments.
Be the liaison between HR Operations and International Finance for global employee moves and other projects.
Liaise with Compensation & Benefits on global rewards for expatriates.
Monitor the effectiveness of existing expatriate policies, guidelines, and procedures, and make recommendations when necessary to remain competitive and consistent with mobility trends and corporate objectives.
Provide advice and support to business teams on all aspects of an expatriate assignment including pre-assignment activities, review of cost projections, ongoing expatriate payroll and expenses processing and post-assignment activities.
Create and enhance program documentation, communication materials and HR and employee decision tools.
Manage vendor partner relationships and ensure support aligns with company expectations.
Monitor program costs and work to ensure efficient internal processing.
Work to transform Global Mobility processes, manage all global mobility items with speed and transparency to all internal stakeholders as well as to employees, and make sure there is a seamless execution on all priorities.
Establish best practices, standardization and process governance
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
7+ years of HR experience and 2+ years of management experience
Passion for stakeholder and vendor management, leading and developing teams, and HR systems and processes
Experience working in a Shared Services business model
Knowledge of government regulations as apply to immigration and relocation programs, international company policies and operations.
Exposure to international payrolls.
Experience with MS Office and HRIS systems.
Detail-orientated, energetic, flexible and creative with the ability to thrive in a fast-based environment.
Strong management/time management skills and the ability to multi-task and work independently.
Effective presentation of material to audiences of varying skill.
Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to engage with all levels within the organization - effective and appropriate business acumen.
High level of analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
Desire to effect change and suggest process improvements with ability to implement and deliver timely results.

High levels of customer service focus
Experience working in a global organization.
Knowledge and exposure to M&A activity preferred.
Working knowledge of global mobility and global mobility vendors is a plus.
