Solarwinds Inc. Senior HR Business Partner in Austin, Texas

Overview

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will serve as the key HR leader supporting various teams across multiple locations. This critical role will be responsible for partnering with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met with a “people first” mindset and approach.

SolarWinds is looking for an individual who can quickly become a trusted advisor for the leadership team in one or more client groups. You will be on the front-line and provide both hands-on and strategic expertise across multiple subject areas including organizational design, mergers & acquisitions, talent management, engagement and retention, employee relations, compensation, workforce planning, data analytics and more.

We are looking for a progressive HR Business Partner with the expertise and approach needed to recommend, design, develop and implement new HR processes, programs and practices required to significantly grow the business.

Responsibilities

  • Create and drive the Human Capital Plan for designated client group(s).

  • Plan and implement solutions aligned to both business and HR strategy and goals.

  • Develop people strategies and design approaches to diagnose and enhance organizational effectiveness with a focus on tangible business outcomes and employee engagement.

  • Build a great place to work by partnering with HR functional specialists and business colleagues to create, implement and communicate programs for benefits & rewards, performance management, engagement, retention & mobility (that are aligned with financial goals).

  • Influence business and talent initiatives that support short and long-term business goals, including driving practices that enable high performance, management effectiveness and operational excellence.

  • Serve as a highly responsive advisor and coach for key clients and leaders. Establish and reinforce leadership values and behaviors.

  • Ensure there is excellent alignment with established human resources policies & procedures in the execution of business unit and site HR initiatives.

  • Identify talent gaps and succession issues before they affect the business. Serve as an internal talent scout for key positions and help develop the next generation of leaders through talent management and career development.

  • Ensure compliance with company legal and HR practices as well as with legislative and regulatory requirements and standards. Liaise with legal and HR Operations as appropriate.

  • Provide recommendations and implement solutions to motivate, develop and retain employees.

  • Effectively utilize data to provide relevant, accurate information for both internal clients and HR.

  • Identify, define and implement solutions that address the needs of the business while considering the impact on the SolarWinds, HR and other functions.

  • Serve as project manager for designated M&A activities including due diligence, integration, separation, and execution planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in human resources, general business or equivalent experience

  • 8+ years of broad HR experience with a proven track record as a business partner who effectively collaborates with HR colleagues, functional specialists, and internal clients

  • Strong business acumen and proven learning agility

  • A self-starter with the ability to adapt interpersonal style and influence effectively at all levels in the organization. Demonstrate tact and diplomacy.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability. Strong Excel and HCM capabilities.

  • Experience with people data analytics and proven ability to influence with data

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, establish trust and credibility and act with complete integrity.
