Solarwinds Inc. Senior Compensation Analyst in Austin, Texas

Overview

SolarWinds is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to be involved in the design, development, implementation, and management of innovative global compensation programs and initiatives, ensuring they are consistent with SolarWinds Total Rewards strategy and overall business objectives. This individual should be highly analytical in nature, have strong communication and relationship building skills and enjoy working with highly collaborative teams.

Responsibilities

  • Engages Leadership and HR Business Partners to review proposed designs on global compensation philosophy, pay for performance programs, policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with HR & Leadership on a variety of projects including business strategy, salary structures, incentive compensation, integration of mergers and acquisitions.

  • Lead annual market pricing for Sales by reviewing job content to provide guidance on target pay and pay mix by role and geographic location.

  • Assess compensation programs and trends to drive innovative solutions that align with global business strategy.

  • Develop compensation tools to streamline processes and incorporate efficiencies.

  • Participates in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine company’s competitive position.

  • Drives an effective partnership between Compensation and other HR teams to support workload and execution, sharing of knowledge, increase understanding of international issues and all aspects and considerations around compensation programs and practices.

  • Support the global compensation team on Corporate bonus plan design, bonus administration, and other duties as assigned.

  • Partner with HR Business Partners to research internal client issues (market competitiveness, pay analysis, etc.) and respond to requests in a timely manner.

  • Work with HR Operations for continuous improvement in data integrity and reporting analytics to meet business needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources or a related field.

  • 5 years of Compensation or related business experience. Sales compensation experience in the SAAS industry a plus.

  • Strong analytical skills and mathematical aptitude required.

  • Ability to assess processes and make recommendations for improvement.

  • Strong time and project management skills.

  • Excellent aptitude in Excel and HRIS systems.

  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple requests.

  • Must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
