Solarwinds Inc. Sales Compensation Manager in Austin, Texas
SolarWinds is seeking a Sales Compensation Manager responsible for the design, development, implementation, and management of innovative global Sales compensation programs and initiatives, ensuring they are consistent with SolarWinds Total Rewards strategy and overall business objectives. This position works directly with Sales Leadership on global sales incentive compensation plan design, pay for performance programs, competitive target pay, pay mix, and sales compensation analytics as requested by Sales Leadership.
Business-facing leader responsible for sales compensation plan design, pay for performance programs, process improvement and drive alignment across three distinct sales teams specifically designed to motivate and retain sales talent globally.
Lead quarterly sales pay review processes for sales teams globally.
Lead annual market pricing for sales by reviewing job content and provide guidance on target pay and pay mix by sales role and geographic location.
Conduct sales incentive and quota attainment analytics and make recommendations to support sales talent strategy.
Support the global compensation team on Corporate bonus plan design, bonus administration, and other duties as assigned.
Partner with HR Managers and managers researching internal client issues (market competitiveness, pay analysis, etc.) and respond to requests in a timely manner.
Partner with Sales Operations and Finance to review commissions regularly and evaluate incentive plan effectiveness.
Partner with HR Operations for continuous improvement in data integrity and reporting analytics specific to variable pay.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources or a related field.
7 years of Compensation or related business experience. 2 – 3 years of sales compensation experience in the SAAS industry desired.
Strong analytical skills and mathematical aptitude required.
Ability to assess processes and make recommendations for improvement.
Strong time and project management skills.
Excellent aptitude in Excel and HRIS systems.
Ability to prioritize and work on multiple requests.
Must be flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities.
