We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to own global go-to-market strategy for one or two products within our Security portfolio. The right person for this role loves telling compelling and memorable stories to IT professionals about technical products, working with marketing, sales, and product teams, and doing what it takes to achieve financial and market success. We are a high velocity, results-driven organization where status quo does not exist.
Develop product messaging that resonates with the day-to-day challenges have, and how they try to address them.
Gain and maintain a deep understanding of the top competitors for your products and find ways to differentiate against them.
Be the spokesperson for your product by developing compelling content, and through presentation, whether on webcasts, to internal teams, or at events.
Track and report on product performance, own and perform root cause analysis and make recommendations around the ups and downs of results.
Develop a marketing plan with our Demand Generation and Marketing teams to ensure we reach the right audience, have compelling content, and are driving awareness and demand.
Plan product launches and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
Partner with Product Marketing to determine the business goals for your products, execute powerful and impactful product launches, and provide feedback for roadmap generation.
Enable the sales team with the right training, tools, and information to close deals.
Light travel to tradeshows and industry events to evangelize your products and meet with customers and prospects.
An understanding of information technology buyer and the IT industry is a critical starting point.
3+ years of Product Marketing for a B2B technical software product (or Marketing with strong experience in technical hardware or software markets).
History of content creation in a variety of formats, with examples, and strong writing.
Experience owning the go-to-market for, and launching, successful products.
Great presentation skills, with an ability to deliver technical content in a clear, concise, and compelling language.
Experience interacting with customers, partners, and press/analysts with accuracy and professionalism.
Strong understanding with digital marketing technologies and methods.
Demonstrated self-motivation and self-discipline to work effectively in a high-paced environment.
Background in IT Security a plus.
