Solarwinds Inc. Product Manager – Network Management in Austin, Texas
The Group Product Manager for Network Monitoring will use extensive market domain and customer knowledge to drive the product roadmap for the industry’s leading network monitoring solution. Managing a team of network product managers, you and the team will work cross-functionally to deliver customer outcomes, drive market awareness, and accelerate adoption.
A successful candidate will have a proven track record in delivering results in high dynamic markets. SolarWinds emphasizes strong growth and profitability. This position requires product management skills that blend technical/market knowledge, business acumen, and people leadership skills.
Manage end-to-end product lifecycle/roadmap in agile development environment with focus on driving customer and business outcomes
Support strategic planning for network monitoring solutions to drive long-term market share growth and sustainable competitive differentiation
Lead and build world-class network monitoring PM team
Effectively communicate and collaborate across functions, including R&D, marketing, sales, and customer success
Drive on-going analysis of market, competition to support product planning and GTM activities

BA/BS degree in a technical field and 5-7 years of product management experience in network monitoring, system management, or networking domain.
Ability to prioritize among many competing alternatives and plans, balance customer needs with business priorities, and articulate the rationale behind decisions
Expert multi-tasker with the ability to juggle details of roadmaps/project status of multiple teams and stakeholders
Driven team player, collaborator and relationship builder with proven ability to work effectively in a matrix organization. Contagious can-do attitude and self-sufficient work style.
Proven experience in building a world-class product management team
Strong communication skills, experience in interacting with customers, partners, press/analysts
