Solarwinds Inc. Global Equity Plan Administrator in Austin, Texas

Overview

SolarWinds is seeking a Global Equity Plan Administrator to join its Legal team. The position will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day administration of our global equity plans. The position requires a highly efficient and detail-oriented team player who can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day-to-day administration of global equity plans and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP), including all aspects of recordkeeping, reporting and reconciliation

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of all equity data in equity system of record

  • Interact with transfer agent, dedicated broker and internal teams to timely process and settle trades, exercises and other equity plan transactions

  • Maintain compliance with terms and conditions of equity plans, ESPP, applicable agreements and internal processes and procedures related to equity administration

  • Generate recurring reports and respond to ad hoc data requests from business partners with accuracy under tight deadlines

  • Provide excellent customer service in responding to employee inquiries regarding equity and coordinating with internal teams and vendors as appropriate to resolve issues

  • Prepare employee communications related to equity

  • Act as primary point of contact between company and all third party vendors related to equity programs (transfer agent, dedicated broker, etc)

  • Maintain equity plan documentation for internal and SOX compliance

  • Prepare Section 16 filings and proxy compensation tables related to equity ownership

  • Manage adoption of, and compliance with, 10b5-1 trading plans and stock ownership guidelines

  • Partner with internal teams, including Finance, Tax, Payroll, HR and Internal Audit, on all equity-related matters

  • Identify and implement process improvements

  • Perform other duties related to the global equity plans and programs

Qualifications

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate results under tight deadlines

  • Strong ability to reconcile and audit reports

  • High proficiency in Excel

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Knowledge of public company reporting requirements, including preparation of Section 16 filings, proxy compensation tables and stock-based compensation sections of 10-Qs and 10-Ks

  • Experience with administering ESPP

  • Experience with compliance administration of 10b5-1 trading plans and stock ownership guidelines

  • Minimum 7 years experience with public company stock administration

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree

  • Experience with Certent equity administration preferred

  • Experience with Merrill Lynch brokerage platform preferred

  • CEP Level I preferred
