We are looking for a self-driven web analyst who will actively partner with our marketing and web teams to help drive the process of transforming into a world-class B2B site.


The goal of the Business Intelligence and Web Analytics Team is to facilitate actionable web analytics that can be used to drive web optimization efforts on our various web instances. This role will ensure a solid implementation of our web analytics landscape is put into place by owning the best-practice process, governance, and maintenance of our web Analytics properties.

The Web Marketing Analyst will support recurring reporting, ad hoc analysis, and strategic behavioral research around our visitor journey that will lead to decision making for Marketing, Product, Sales, and Executive teams.

The team has diverse expertise in online data, multi-channel attribution and algorithm creation, regression analysis and data mining, has access to best in class analytics tools and a talented data team, and is a trusted partner across the organization. The analyst joins this team to specialize in all things web, and can shape our strategy in:

  • Website visitor behavior and user experience

  • Implementation and optimization of web personalization

  • Data-driven design for the web, including leading design and interpretation for multivariate and A/B testing

  • Collaboration with our eCommerce team, driving actionable insights and recommendations to improve website and marketing performance for this fast-growing channel

The Digital Marketing Analyst will be responsible for tracking, reporting and analyzing online user behavior, test performance data, campaign performance, and overall lift from marketing programs. It is critical that all data and conclusions are delivered on-time and accurately to key stakeholders within the organization. He/She will also identify new ideas and opportunities for improving analytics capabilities including integration with offline, internal and external data sources.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Track daily, weekly and monthly business performance against goals and provide trend analysis

  • Develop and deliver dashboards to management teams across multiple web properties

  • Configure the website analytics platform and support the implementation of taggingand other tracking parameters to measure performance

  • Assist in creating, maintaining, and governing web analytical elements such as events, tracked metrics, dimensions, new persona attributes and 3 rd party data

  • Support marketing inbound dashboard and analytical requests

  • Educating marketing team members on basic web analytics tool use

  • Management of web tool permissions and usage

  • Analyze website behavior to support user experience optimization efforts

  • Support the Web PM Team with test performance analysis and reports via canned report templates and custom reports

  • Drive improvements in testing capability and measurement of tests


  • Smart and resourceful self-starter who is able to learn web analytics on-the-job and become the owner of the tools, technology and support for this facet of our organization. The ideal candidate doesn’t need to have specific prior work experience but must demonstrate the ability and desire to learn this area and become the exclusive owner / expert within the company

  • Passion for analytics and driving to results and intellectual curiosity. Desire to help drive immediate improvement in business results based on the results of web analysis

  • Experience with web analytics tools. Adobe Analytics is strongly preferred

  • Experience with tag management solutions, such as Adobe DTM or Google’s GTM

  • 1 to 3 years experience in digital marketing analytics

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Natural ability to effectively communicate results/implications both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Exceptional project and organizational/time management skills

  • Ability to quickly identify and solve problems in a fast-paced, changing environment

  • Highly effective working in teams and meeting tight deadlines; able to articulate abstract business problems and help teams to conceptualize underlying issues and recommended solutions

  • Detail oriented, able to multi-task, troubleshoot, and problem solve

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Tableau or equivalent BI tool experience a plus

  • Demonstrated analytical ability with digital measurement, particularly with complex and abstract business problems. Strong quantitative analysis skills with an aptitude for mining large data sets

  • Experience helping stakeholders improve their operations and answer business questions using data

  • A data-driven inclination for web testing design and interpretation including the development of Multivariate and A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, and personalization strategy. Experience with Adobe Target and Optimizely to stage tests, interpret results, and recommend action

  • Familiar with best practices across all facets of the online experience. Understanding of HTML and web technologies and concepts, including experience with high transaction websites and database marketing

  • Strong knowledge base in all facets of web analytics(data capture, measurement, reporting and translation into business and/or behavioral insights) is a plus

  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Access, and/or SQL skills, including pulling data out of a SQL server and manipulate as needed to run complex and insightful analysis; experience with statistical analytics tools (Python, R, SAS) is a plus
