Solarwinds Inc. Corporate Communications Manager in Austin, Texas
We’re building a world-class corporate marketing organization for our SolarWinds Core IT business unit and looking for a communications professional with experience supporting public relations and analyst relations functions. The Corporate Communications Manager role is part of the global corporate marketing team and will report to the Senior Corporate Communications Manager in North America. The person in this role will support strategic efforts led by our global corporate communications team, and lead coordination efforts for our global analyst relations program.
Coordinate interview and briefing requests with media and analysts.
Support product and product marketing teams with research topics.
Maintain an up-to-date press/media list.
Maintain analyst list and briefing tracker supporting fast-moving global AR program.
Build and manage global research repository.
Support PR, AR, and Social teams with copy content and help execute strategies to build awareness, brand, and consideration of growing portfolio of products.
Develop project timelines, define tasks and milestones, and manage external resources as needed to ensure on-time delivery of projects.
Collaborate and work closely with agencies and/or media partners to plan, implement, manage, and optimize communications campaigns leveraging PR and AR network for North America.
Use Tableau, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Marketo, Salesforce, and Excel to measure and provide detailed reporting on campaign effectiveness: send/open/CTR stats, opportunity creation, CPL, valid trials, conversion, ROI, etc.
Provide reports that give visibility into PR/AR/Influencer campaigns effectiveness, making recommendations to address coverage gaps, and strategy for future campaign tactics based on performance analytical data and system best practices.
B.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Communications, or related field
3 – 5 years of experience in communications, preferably in high-tech software or agency
Excellent project management, verbal, and written communication skills
Flexible team player who thrives in fast-paced environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and pilot multiple concurrent programs simultaneously
Creative, with meticulous attention to detail, to build an innovative brand
Self-starter who can thrive with minimal supervision
