SolarWinds is hiring an Sales Development Rep that will be responible for developing Solarwinds business opportunity within designated geography. Achieving revenue targets while responding efficiently to customer inquiries (usually in form of sales leads/downloads) and provided solutions for their network management needs. Primary duties include outbound calling, e-mail communication, channel co-ordination and overall management of sales pipeline through the sales cycle.

Responsibilities:

The SDR will:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and e-mail, assist potential customers during their evaluation process, create quotes and new customer accounts, co-ordinate with channel partners, and close sales

  • Keep Solarwinds management informed by maintaining accurate customer and pipeline records within SalesForce

  • Submit accurate and timely activity reports as required

  • Conduct product demonstrations via the internet to potential customer’s audiences that are both technical and non-technical

  • Provide Solarwinds Management with information about the local market opportunity and identifying new business opportunities and channel partnerships

  • Identify and fit customer needs with SolarWinds product

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Passion for selling (IT industry background preferable)

• Enthusiastic and self starting approach

• Demonstrable record of sales success against quota

• Knowledge and experience of networking technologies and overall Solarwinds business environment

• Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to use Microsoft Office/Exchange, and SalesForce

• Bilingual – preferred - Korean and Thai
