Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts in automation, continuous integration, continuous deployment, and configuration management.

  • Responsible for the setup, configuration and maintenance of the version control system, the defect tracking tools, artifact storage systems and the build system

  • Contribute to planning efforts, capacity expansion, and system upgrades both on-premise and into the hybrid cloud

  • Improve builds pipeline, branching strategy

  • Support production servers and applications, troubleshoot alerts with Application and Performance monitoring tools

  • Produce and maintain documentation on installations, incidents, and procedure requirements for systems

  • Research new promising technologies, strategies, and ways to solve technical issues

Qualifications:

What is required to succeed in this position:

  • Strong background with JIRA and Confluence project agile tracking tools

  • Deep understanding of version control systems (Perforce, Git, SVN…)

  • Extensive history with Linux/Unix OS and Windows OS system engineering

  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment/Automated testing implementations, using Jenkins, TeamCity, Travis CI or any other

  • Experience with artifact storage systems (Artifactory, Nexus,...)

  • Understanding of Virtualization (VMware/HyperV or other)

  • Familiarity with Automation tools, such as Ansible, Salt, Chef, Puppet

  • Exposure to a wide variety of tools, including Atlassian Suite, Artifactory, Git, or others

  • Scripting experience with Python, shell scripting, or Java

  • Oral and written English communication skills with high level of customer service

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in IT Systems administration area

What are some desired (not required) skills?

  • Understanding of Cloud, including AWS, Azure

  • Database experience with MysQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL

  • Familiarity with Containerization, including Docker, CoreOS, Kubernetes

  • Exposure to different software development methodologies helpful

  • Proficient in logging tools, such as ELK or Splunk
