This role executes campaigns using marketing automation and media partner relationships to drive traffic to our website, landing pages and registration forms, with the primary focus on capturing qualified leads and engaging existing leads to build pipeline value.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate marketing programs, distribution strategy, work cross-functionally with field marketing, product, sales, events and others

  • Develop project timelines, define tasks and milestones and manage external resources as needed to ensure on-time delivery of projects; efficiently manage projects in Asana project management

  • Communicate and leverage U.S. campaign efforts to strengthen potential leads’ awareness of the SolarWinds MSP product offerings

  • Create emails and landing pages in Marketo adhering to brand identity, schedule email deployments

  • Create and manage SFDC campaigns; accurate data entry

  • Work closely with Product Marketing Manager to develop campaign strategy, messaging and execution

  • Collaborate with content and creative team for asset development

  • Collaborate closely with agencies and/or media partners to plan, implement, manage and optimize campaigns utilizing email, ad placement, content syndication, ad sponsorships, webinars, etc.

  • Recommend strategy for future campaign tactics based on performance analytical data and system best practices

  • Use Marketo, Salesforce and Excel to measure and provide detailed reporting on campaign effectiveness: send/open/CTR stats, opportunity creation, CPL, valid trials, conversion, ROI, etc.

  • Prepare status reports for Marketing and SolarWinds MSP leadership

  • Manage and track quarterly budgets against plan

  • Process insertion and purchase orders, invoices, track spend, etc.

  • BS/BA preferred in a relevant discipline

  • 3+ years working in a Marketing role, similar experience as outlined preferred

  • Experience using email marketing platform or marketing automation software (Marketo preferred)

  • Experience using project management methodology

  • Exceptional organizational skills; detail-oriented (type A is welcome)

  • Proven and demonstrated creative experience; excellent written and oral communication skills a plus

  • Proven experience successfully managing marketing programs/projects within budget and on time

  • CRM software knowledge (Salesforce) a plus

  • Interest in data flow, management and maintenance a plus

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills

  • Basic HTML skills are an advantage, but not essential
