Opportunity Details:


Reporting to the Senior Manager of Human Resources this individual will create and support the development, administration, and delivery of HR services for Solarwinds MSP business in EMEA. The encumbant will be accountable for all aspects of HR Management as a strategic Business Partner and advisor to the business leaders on matters including: employment guidelines, employee relations, talent management; pay & menefits, development, and performance management for circa 350 International employees (United Kingdom, Netherlands, Belarus, Hong Kong, Italy and Germany)

The position works collaboratively with leaders and HR counterparts in North America and APAC.


Responsibilities include:

  • HR planning to facilitate change and enable growth

  • Leadership identification, coaching & development

  • Performance management

  • Employee engagement and development, may include facilitation of training

  • Member of global HRBP team, ensuring HR and business strategy is aligned to achieve Company objectives.

  • M&A due diligence and / or integration

  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation

  • Identifying and leading projects to facilitate the HR strategy

  • Change agent, and member of the local management team

  • Partner with management to communicate people policies, procedures and programs

  • Interpretation and application of employment law provision for countries in remit e.g. redundancy programs, TUPE provision, employment tribunals, maternity and organisational reviews.

  • Advise, respond to and facilitate the resolution of employee relations concerns, including investigations and coaching managers to mitigate employee related risk.

  • Advise on disciplinary process & ensure compliance with company policy and legal requirements

  • Partner with L&D and Recruiting on succession planning, career development & retention strategy

  • Help create and drive innovative people processes and policies that support MSP business growth

  • Develop, drive and implement critical HR initiatives and projects

  • Manage and develop direct reports including HR Coordinator (UK) and HRBP (Minsk)


  • Extensive experience in a broad HR Generalist/HR Manager role

  • Multi-country experience &/or experience with an international Company preferred

  • Solutions focused self-starter who can deliver with minimal supervision

  • Able to interpret people requirements and develop proactive solutions

  • Understanding of UK employment laws and practices, and compliance requirements is essential, with a working knowledge of laws in other European geographies advantageous

  • Enthusiasm for working within a fast paced and changing business environment

  • Aptitude and proven ability to resolve conflicts creatively and collaboratively

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, comfortable with ambiguity

  • Proven judgment & problem-solve skills

  • Skilled in organizational and employee development, performance management & employee relations. Compensation experience preferred

  • Experience with MS Office Suite & HRIS systems required
