Solarwinds Inc. Product Marketing Specialist, Monitoring Cloud in Brno, Czech Republic
SolarWinds is looking for a Product Marketing Specialist to support the go to market execution of its Monitoring Cloud product line on a global basis. The Monitoring Cloud - which includes the following SaaS products: Pingdom, Librato, Papertrail, and TraceView - is a very fast growing product portfolio with a very large market opportunity. The position requires someone with a good understanding of the technical issues developers, operations engineers, and IT professionals face and the ability to craft and fine tune messages about how the SolarWinds Monitoring Cloud products help solve those problems.

Develop a deep understanding of our customers, the problems they face, the alternatives customers consider to solve those problems and the overall market landscape and technology trends.
Write engaging and differentiated content that drives awareness and demand by describing how SolarWinds solves market problems in a unique way, including: articles, email copy, white papers, website copy, presentations, demo scripts, etc.
Refine buyer personas and help determine market messages
Support execution of the marketing plan which includes demand generation and customer marketing tactics.
Support product launch plans
Survey customers and build customer references and case studies
Update and enhance website content on product brand sites and Solarwinds.com
Conduct regular market, customer, win-loss, and competitive research to improve go-to-market strategies, messaging, positioning, and more
A basic understanding of IT systems and applications, the market and general trends
High energy levels, enthusiasm and can-do attitude. Demonstrated self-motivation and self-discipline to work effectively in a high-paced environment
Strong English verbal and written communication skills
The ideal candidate will have one or more of these qualities:
2+ years of Product Marketing or Product Management for a B2B technical software product
Strong understanding of digital marketing technologies and methods
Experience marketing & selling technical products to IT professionals is desired, in roles such as product marketing, systems engineering and/or product management
Practical experience directly managing IT operations/monitoring or experience as a sales engineer, product manager or other technical role (e.g. developer)
Business degree and/or marketing or business training
