We are currently looking for an experienced, creative and driven Senior Channel Marketing Manager based in our Austin, TX office. In this role the Senior Channel Marketing Manager will define, create, and deliver programs that enable SolarWinds North America channel partners to increase their revenue. Ideal candidates have experience building channel programs designed and proven to scale across many partners, and ultimately on a global level.
This position will work closely with the North America Channel Sales team, and will serve as the marketing lead for North America channel enablement programs. A thorough understanding of the channel business model and competitive landscape is required to successfully manage the channel marketing programs to maximize channel revenue.
Plan, develop and execute a marketing plan designed to grow the channel significantly in North America
Leverage knowledge of the channel and technology landscapes to recommend and execute on the appropriate marketing mix for partner marketing activities
Develop, manage, and implement the channel marketing programs and regular partner communications, including newsletters, webinars, events, social media, partner portal, partner communities, email communications, and more
Manage channel investments (e.g. MDF); allocation process, compliance and ROI
Responsible for partner acquisition (working with Channel sales) and onboarding and enablement of new partners
Collaborate with extended marketing team to ensure simple and consistent approaches to channel across regions; ensure close alignment of corporate activity to channel priorities, strategies, and programs
Develop and manage all marketing assets needed to support channel programs, including written materials and presentations, the North America section of the partner portal, and all other content needed for partner activities
Create program collateral, and manage partner marketing communications to ensure awareness of promotional campaigns and training opportunities
Lead cross department teams in delivering assets, tools and deliverable on time and within budget.
Desired Skills & Experience
5 plus years B2B channel marketing experience, preferably for a software company
Excellent communication and presentation skills with proven track record of growing demand in the channel and working with channel partners
Strong analytical acumen and a keen ability to prioritize workload based on business impact
Detail oriented, self-motivated and proactive
Professional, team player with strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with distributed teams
