Solarwinds Inc. Scrum Master/Program Manager in Austin, Texas
Work with Product Management, Executive stakeholders and the Engineering team to determine scope and schedule for our Business application projects
Act as Scrum Master for multiple teams using both Kanban and Scrum
Translate the Product Manager's product requirements into technical requirements for the Engineering team and ensure they are complete and understood
Work with the Development and Test leads to ensure that tasks are prioritized correctly, that roadblocks are removed and that the team is on track to meet their milestone dates.
Track and manage project schedules to release deadlines.
Review test plans and work with the Test Lead to ensure proper test coverage for a release.
Ensure that the Engineering team is providing timely assistance to the different business organizations.
Lead the daily stand-up meetings for the Engineering team.
Collaborate with the Architecture team to create a viable long-term technical direction for the web sites and related business applications.
Competency in driving and managing large cross-functional projects, including the ability to: coordinate stakeholders, decompose and sequence project tasks, identify dependencies and manage risk, and report on status.
Experience leading a commercial software development team to successfully deliver product or web site application releases.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Demonstrated creativity, intelligent thinking and ability to "get things done"
Must be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
MS or BS in Computer Science or Equivalent
Scrum Master certification preferred
Experience with working on high traffic web sites and applications
Experience with ERP’s and/or CMR systems.
Experience working with offshore development teams
High level Experience with IT technologies (Networking, Virtualization, Systems Management, Storage)
